The Australian Friends of Palestine association is a voluntary,
not for profit organization which has as its primary object the
promotion of peace in Palestine based on international law and relevant
UN resolutions. A subsidiary objective is the promotion of Palestinian
identity, heritage and culture to Australians.
List of the association objectives:
to promote peace in Palestine;
to promote Palestinian identity, heritage and culture to Australians
and Australian Palestinians;
to support Palestinians in their quest to live in their own
land;
to engage the Australian People, politicians, government, and
other organizations to support Palestinians in Palestine and Australia;
to interact with other associations and people from time to
time who promote the same and/or similar objectives;
to disseminate information promoting the objectives of the
association through seminars, discussions and other educational
processes;
to promote a forum to address charitable, educational and benevolent
purposes for issues relating to Palestine and Palestinians;
to advocate and support Palestinians with special needs in
Australia.
to raise funds to engage in charitable activities in order
to support the charitable needs of Palestinians.
